Sabrina McCormick, PhD. author of No Family History: The Environmental Links to Breast Cancer. Dr. McCormick points out the fallacy of continuing to look for a cure, when we should be looking at the causes of breast cancer. Because we have focused so completely on family history, these women are very surprised to become cancer patients. Ms. McCormick also addresses the inevitable question, "Why me?" With compelling evidence she challenges us to realize that giving money and buying products with pink ribbons isn't enough, instead we must become aware of the chemicals around us and hold polluters accountable. She shares with us that industries donate to cancer research while continuing to manufacturing carcinogenic toxins. With the incidence of breast cancer on the rise, it is imperative that we listen to the facts. In order to truly address the rising tide of cancer, we must address the causes.
