Jo Reed: Welcome to Art Works, the program that goes behind the scenes with some of the nation's great artists to explore how art works. I'm your host, Josephine Reed
It's a fact of Life, Theater is expensive; producing plays costs a lot of money. Which means getting a play produced is difficult at any age but if you're young, it's almost impossible. This is a dilemma. Because if 20-something playwrights can't see their work on a stage, how will they ever hone their skills? How will the next generation of playwrights be able to come into their own.
