Mirad_small

It is hard to grasp the events in the former Yugoslavia but MIRAD, A BOY FROM BOSNIA enables us to come to terms with it, as far as such appalling disintegration into war and persecution can be explained.  An aching, high-tension drama based on the true story of Mirad and his gruelling experiences as a boy soldier after witnessing the execution of his father and his sister and separation from his mother.  Although a drama about war, this is not a bang, bang feature but a deeply moving account of individuals caught up in events beyond their control. A strong cast of British actors including Frances de la Tour and Ronald Pickup.
