Question. How good has this year been for music? Well, let's put it this way: Recently, NPR Music decided there was no need to wait til the end of the year to issue a "Top 25" list. After a little back-and-forth bantering in good spirit with our colleagues at NPR, we here at Texas Music Matters offered to top their selections...albeit with a paired down "Top 10" list of the best albums of 2011 so far. It's an hour of first-rate tunes and, we hope, musical discovery, too. Enjoy! Read the full description.
