I've had the honor of interviewing Chucho Valdes numerous times in both the US and Cuba. Review of Chucho Valdes
This is a great introduction to a great musician. The cuts are well edited and despite the English-Spanish translation going on, there's a nice rapport between the interviewer and the interviewee. The musical selections are well chosen, demonstrating Valdes's virtuosity. They are also pleasingly blended with the conversation. A very classy piece.
