DOWN THE STAIRS RECOILING... Read the full description.

Br_logo_small Down the stairs recoiling
At the bottom no further could go.

This is a riddle about a slinky.   Yes, they're high level entertainment as the flip flop back and forth from hand to hand.  Or, as this riddle reminds us, they can energize themselves for a jaunty walk down the stairs -- and they don't even need to hold on to the hand rail.   One listener had another idea.   She thought that rather than a slinky, it might be a drama queen staggering down the stairs with a burden of life too heavy to bear.

NEW RIDDLE:
A language spoken
Out on the ocean
A language fluttered
Not uttered.

(answer:  see 6/25/11 piece)
