The following text is from the concert's story page on NPR Music:

Typhoon is a Portland-based collective of musicians which performs with anywhere from seven to 17 members at any given time. After suffering through Lyme disease as a child, lead singer Kyle Morton internalized the experience to create songs that celebrate and affirm life. With an arsenal of strings and brass, the band produces a joyous, uplifting sound. Its second EP, The Honest Truth, was released in March.

Recorded live at The Gorge on Sunday, May 29, Typhoon performs here as part of the 2011 Sasquatch Music Festival outside Seattle, Wash.

Available for free to NPR member stations for broadcast, up to 4 times in 3 years. If you're not an NPR member station, contact programservices@npr.org
