Joey Miller and Devon Gross were failing out of middle school. They were lucky to be in Regional School Unit 13. The district has a unique relationship with a local non-profit - the Herring Gut Learning Center takes Joey, Devon, and their classmates for almost half the school week, at no cost to the district. At Herring Gut, the students run their own aqualculture business. Now both students have a renewed attitude towards school and their future.
