In the world of academic competitions, the Maine Science Olympiad Tournament is like no other. Teams compete in a wide range of events: ornithology, forensics, engineering, music, and more. Students study, practice, and build to be the best. The team from Waterville Senior High School has won for 15 straight years, and is going for their 16th state title. The robotics team of Allie Wu and Sarah Walker work on their Sumobot. They both have won gold medals before, but as producer Ali Kuzmickas discovers, building a robot proves more challenging than they thought.
