President Barack Obama announced earlier this month that US Navy Seal Team 6 had raided the Pakistan compound of the most wanted man in America, Osama bin Laden, and killed him during the ensuing firefight.
President Obama’s announcement came as a surprise to the American public, who had become used to bin Laden’s ghost-like presence hovering over news from the middle east, but unable to be found. The raid and bin Laden’s death have set off a number of news aftershocks in the last two weeks as the country and media reacts to the news… (and then reacts to the reactions).
This episode is hosted by Kimbriell Kelly and Alden Loury, of the Chicago Reporter, and features Don Washington.
The Barbershop Show is produced by Adam Yoffe.
