Intro and Outro

INTRO:

IF USING THE NO INTRO VERSION:

Joyce Slaton is a clothes person. When she got pregnant she started sewing and scoured thrift stores for fancy vintage baby clothes. When her daughter Violet came along, it turned out she had a problem with clothes. A big problem. She'd scream her head off every time Joyce tried to dress her. And it seemed like much more of a fuss than your average baby or toddler would make over putting on a sweater or jacket or underpants. As part of the Longest Shortest Time podcast, radio producer and fellow mom Hillary Frank talked to Joyce about Violet's problem, which hit its peak when Violet was about two-and-a-half years old...

OUTRO:

Joyce Slaton is a writer and editor in San Francisco. Her daughter Violet is now a very cheerful five years old. For more stories about struggles in early parenthood, go to longestshortesttime.com.
