As many one-hit wonders have proved, a lot of people have one truly great song inside waiting to get out. To be able to write great songs consistently, however, takes a bit of doing. This week's show has a lot of these quality songwriters. The final half hour, in fact, consists entirely of tunes written by solo songwriters. There are plenty of collaborative efforts sprinkled throughout the show as well.
Also in the Stuck in the Psychedelic Era series

Topic Suggestion
Many other shows have done movie OST's written by former rock artists. Your show should be able to a similar themed show, rock n roll tracks from future movie OST writers. Randy Newman and Hans Zimmer come to mind, but there are plenty of others.
BTW: Great show. Although its not available live, I never miss my weekly downloads so I can put the headphones on and jam here at work. Thank you for the show.
