Life as a Penguin examines the devastating effects arthritis can have on children, teenagers and young adults. When people hear the word arthritis they often think of elderly people and a sign of getting old, from my experiences as an arthritis patient for the past 20 years this is far from reality.
I am now 22, and I am one of around 12,000 young sufferers in the UK. Life as a Penguin aims to raise awareness of the condition by looking through the eyes of young people with arthritis who are often said to imitate the walk of a penguin.
