Omar Torres sets down with Jessica Tafoya and Thomas Vigil from the New Mexico teen pregnancy coalition. The New Mexico Teen Pregnancy Coalition is an organization that provides programs to support teens that are already pregnant AND to help Prevent teen pregnancy. Tomas Vigil is a 23 year old father. He got involved with the Young Fathers program December 2010. The Young Fathers program helps young fathers under the age of 26. Participants receive individual case management, mentor-ship and learn life skills in groups with other young fathers. Jessica Tafoya is a Native New Mexican who currently holds position of the Community Liaison for the NMTPC and is responsible for representing them in the community.
