- Bluegrass Review #1119
- From
- Philip Nusbaum
When bluegrass songs place the blame for social issues, it's often on institutions symbolized by a single person. Because America has been involved with wars in recent years, there is a steady stream of songs relating to the human consequences of war and we play a couple of good ones. In an interview with Jim and Valerie Gabehart, they tell us about hitting the bluegrass road, now that their kids are grown. They are certainly looking forward and so we play a group of songs that look either forward or back.
