Last week, more than 2,500 people gathered in Boston for the fifth National Conference for Media Reform. The conference, hosted by Free Press, focused on media, technology and democracy. The three-day gathering included speeches, panels, workshops, music, poetry, parties, films and an FCC town hall. Incoming Free Press President Craig Aaron greeted the crowd on Friday afternoon, and the opening ceremonies kicked off with FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi.
