50_small "Schadenfreude" is WBEZ-FM Chicago Public Radio's sound-rich, experimental comedy program. It currently airs Saturday afternoons on Chicago Public Radio. The show is the brainchild of CPR general manager Torey Malatia and the critically-acclaimed comedy ensemble, Schadenfreude. ===== In this episode... Remember when you had a crush on the closed circuit campus radio deejay who'd play your favorite Dinosaur Jr. or Spin Doctors song? Or maybe you were one of the lucky few who were given a weeknight graveyard shift to share your unique CD collection, which included Neil Young and the "Pulp Fiction" soundtrack. Join us this week as we relive our college radio days. But instead of playing Green Day, we spin some of our favorite Schadenfreude sketches. Schadenfreude—Turn the radio up and the lights down low, and get ready to Jade...to Black.
