James Zogby discusses his new book “Arab Voices: What They are Saying to Us and Why it Matters” in a WorldCanvass Studio production from March 6, 2011.

Zogby is founder and president of the Arab American Institute and senior advisor for the polling firm Zogby International, a Washington, D.C.-based organization which serves as the political and policy research arm of the Arab American community.  In “Arab Voices,” Zogby challenges the myths, assumptions, and biases that create impediments to clear communication and understanding between America and the Arab world.

Zogby discusses "Arab Voices" and is joined in coversation by William Reisinger,  UI professor of political science; Shams Ghoneim, coordinator of the Iowa Chapter of the Muslim Public Affairs Council; and Dan Olinghouse, University of Iowa political science student who experienced the Egyptian demonstrations in Tahrir Square.   WorldCanvass Studio host is Joan Kjaer.
