There are many reasons why people decide to go to Rome – the history, art, churches, events, shopping, food and summer is a great time for young people because the city offers numerous free concerts and events. Many people think that eating, drinking and shopping in Rome is expensive but you can actually eat well and pick up some bargain clothing, if you know where to look. And the best thing about Rome is that many of the monuments are free to visit. Reporter Stephanie Raison went roaming in Rome and brought back her five best tips for visiting the city on a shoestring.
