Dr. Sharon Lee treats indigent patients at her clinic in Kansas City,

Kansas, and she pays herself the same flat $14 an hour that the

nurses, secretaries and janitors get.  In San Francisco, Dr. Jan Gurley

studied mortality rates and concluded that unsheltered homeless people

have a life expectancy of 46.  We'll talk with Drs. Lee and Gurley, and

we'll ask, "What Makes Homeless People Die?"
