On this week’s edition of Art Beat, our very own Lisa Ostrander meets with lithographer, Daniel Grimslid. While he has dabbled in abstract prints, most of Grimslid’s recent work is drawn from a live model. Then using a press he and his brother built over the course of 6 years, Grimslid begins the arduous printmaking process it’s taken him years to perfect. And seeing as he both works and lives in the same building on East 2nd street in downtown Winona, Grimslid is never very far away from his work. Read the full description.
