Ed Musselman and his Plane on his Montana Ranch
Montana pilot Ed Musselman has been flying airplanes since the 1930's, and he has no intention of stopping any time soon. "As long as I can parallel park my pick-up truck, I figure I can keep flying," he says. When he learned to fly, lessons cost $5.50 an hour, and he could only afford three and a half hours of formal training. Still, he was experienced enough that the U.S. government hired him to train fighter pilots at the beginning of WWII. Today, at 92, he still pilots his two-seater through the mountains and planes of central Montana. Read the full description.
