Intro and Outro
INTRO:Lots of musically-inclined young people play in a few bands during their formative years. When they grow up and have kids of their own, the guitar or drumset tends to end up in a closet somewhere. David Kontak is not gathering dust. In the basement of his South Concord home, David cooks up strange musical machines from found and discarded objects. Word of Mouth's Jan-Erik Asplund visited this sonic mad scientist to hear for himself.
:10 of MUX before "David Kontak is not your average musician.."
OUTRO:And thank you to Ben Conant from the Concord Insider for tipping us off about this story.
