FOR MONTHS THE WHITE-CLAD TROOPS AMASS... Read the full description.

Br_logo_small For months the white-clad troops amass
They're poised in congregation
Then suddenly, the battle call
They charge, take captive as they fall.

This is a riddle about an avalanche.   The white-clad troops are snowflakes that fall on our nose and our lashes.  Only when they amass up high on mountain precipices, their potential is far from benign.   But there are other directions you can take this riddle:   How about white blood cells gathering to fight an infection.   Or harvesters in the cotton fields.  Or even kids charging out of school to take captive those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer.

NEW RIDDLE:
Fruits are tumbling
Please produce
O!  That lovely
Silver juice.
