Major cities like Boston and New York are known for their theater, comedy and improv troupes. But further north, Maine also has a thriving improv community. One of the newest troupes on the scene is struggling to keep afloat after a string of bad luck. Read the full description.

The Portland Improv Experience or PIE, is Portland Maine’s youngest improv group. Through a series of unfortunate events, the group finds themselves struggling to stay together. The members of PIE have a passion for laughter, theater, and friendship. This piece documents the changes the group goes through and shows a glimpse into the art of improvisational comedy.  Sarah Delia has this story.
