Daphne is described as being a self-assured, marvelously expressive artist with a bracingly seductive sound. Having just started publicly performing 3 years ago, she already has a Vanguard Records debut album, entitled What to Say. In our interview we discuss the recording process, how music was always a family event, and the surprise of becoming a full time musician. Her performance tonight includes special guest Franklin with accompanying guitar and vocals, and Anthony Lamar from Mike Droho and The Compass Rose steps in for a song to lend his incredible beat-boxing skills.
