You’re not wrong if you’re noticing men and women sporting clothing influenced by 1950s styles.  Yes, the popularity of the TV program “Mad Men” has a lot to do with it, but Karen Videtic an expert on fashion forecasting, says it also reflects changing roles of men and women in the workplace.  Also Featured:  “Mannequins in Motion.”  Elizabeth King makes mannequins and then sets them in motion with stop-frame film animation.  Her work is in the Hirshhorn Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston.
