Christine Dodd, an 11th grader at Windsor Central High School recently won WSKG’s sustainable communities essay contest. She wrote about the changes she’s seen growing up in Windsor, New York, especially as more people have started leaving the town to shop. She took Innovation Trail reporter Emma Jacobs on a tour of the center of the Village of Windsor, population 900. The Big M market is in a small plaza beside a gas station just off of Main Street.
Dodd: This is what I remember! Just this small grocery store.
