Judith_medium_small I have many patients who are angry at their bodies for failing them, and resistant to any recommendations about how to change their situation. One patient struggling with cancer ignored the carefully researched suggestions I made as she agonized over the finding the "right" health care provider to guide her. She was committed to finding absolute certainty in mind before she committed to any choice. Sadly, her health declined as she waited for the illusory certainty she sought. Our bodies are filled with more mystery than straight-lined fact. Had she befriended the softer, wiser heart-mind, and worked in concert with her intellect, she might had found two oars to steer her toward her dreams.
