Dr On this edition of Don't Cha Know we introduce Dr. Rich MacDonald. We will get to learn about what inspired him to be a musician, hear stories of working with other well known musicians, and who inspires him and more! A little background on Dr. MacDonald. He joined the Winona State University Music Department in the Fall of 1996. He holds a bachelor and masters degrees in Music and Music Education from the University of North Texas and a Doctorate of Arts Degree in Percussion Performance and Pedagogy from the University of North Colorado. Dr. MacDonald has taught extensively throughout Texas. Some of his performance credits include Milt Hinton, Slide Hampton, Arturo Sandoval, George Benson, Eddie Daniels, as well as three years touring experience with Ice Capades. Dr. MacDonald performs as a percussionist and vibraphonist and has held clinics throughout the U.S. and Canada.
