Bradley Ellis: I would say the story begins in Greensboro, NC. And 20 year old Brad caught word of a Radiohead tour along with the rest of the world. I don’t need to tell you, but they’re my favorite band, they’re everybody’s favorite band, um, and so I viewed this as a potential vision quest. Later that summer I was turning 21, and it just so happens to be that the day of the concert was my 21st birthday. So I think that’s kind of the setting. These are the given circumstances.
The person that, uh, I probably was wanting to be around the most at the time was my friend Margaret actually, and Margaret also had a July birthday. We were former roommates, we had met in college.
