Fundraising Sample: Shakespeare Sonnet #42 Ripoff

From: Bill Palladino
Length: 00:01:06

A tongue in cheek sonnet about WICA's development director Read the full description.

Default-piece-image-0 Joanne Hermann is famed in northern Michigan as the development director for Interlochen Public Radio. This ripoff of Shakespeare's Sonnet #42 is in honor of Joanne and the work she does. It was used, along with other "previously unheard" sonnets during the summer fundraising drive on Interlochen's stations. It was produced, not by the station, but by one of it's fans and listeners. We set this up with the notion of recent news stories suggesting there may be newly unearthed works of the Bard from archealogical digs in England. A little frivolity to break up the somber studio.
