
An historic event: From 14th to 26th of August, Singapore hosts the first Olympic Youth Games! The Olympic torch made it's way from Greece to all five continents before arriving in Singapore. In Europe, the historical Brandenburg Gate in Berlin was the perfect venue for the symbolic igniting of the flame.
Superstar of the Day was Dalles Mav's top scorer who carried the German flag in Bejing 2008. At the Berlin Youth Olympics Ceremony, Nowitzki received the medal of the International Olympic Comittee - a great honour for one of the greatest sportsmen of our time.
