Summary: Musician/Host Jason Wilber interviews singer/songwriter Big Kenny Aphin about his life and music. This interview took place at Big Kenny's home in Nashville, Tennessee the day after the NRDC sponsored "Music Saves Mountains" concert at the Ryman Auditorium.
Great Interview! I grew up with the Alphins and often went swimming in their pool as a youngster. I felt the interview was honest and only wish he had more time to talk about what made him the way he is today. He seems to want to give back and you almost got to his heart, but not quite. You never asked him about his true faith and if he ever returned to the church or the God that gave him his start in music. Where does his true talent really come from...God or just himself? Adoring fans really want to know. Some people give back out of guilt, while others give back because they can, while others because God gives them the desire within to just keep on giving, no matter what. If you ever get another chance, you should ask Big Kenny and all guests why they do what they do.
