And although apartheid was formally abolished in the early 1990s, it still penetrates every aspect of South African society today.
 
In A Fair Country by Jon Robin Baitz, we witness the devastation that comes from trying to do “the right thing” in a place where everyone is complicit in perpetuating the policies of a racist government.
