August 2010 is the 33rd anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley. While baby boomers are united in their recollection of the moment when they heard the news that JFK had been shot, this baby boomer also recalls where she was when she learned of the death of Elvis.

OUTRO:

This past January 8, 2010, Elvis Presley would have been 75 years old. His birthday was marked with several activities including a sold out tour of the Graceland Mansion along with Elvis' airplanes, The Elvis Presley Automobile Museum; the "Elvis in Hollywood" exhibit and the "Elvis Lives!" exhibit.
