For the first time in KVSC's 43-year history, a live international broadcast is coming to you from the Winnipeg Folk Festival. The festival taking place July 7-11 is one of North America 's premier festivals with live music, a folk school, children's programming and visual arts.
With help from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund, KVSC has sent Wayne Bergerson, host of Frets on Saturday mornings and long-time KVSC deejay Mike Chouinard to Bird's Hill Provincial Park in Manitoba to provide live coverage Thursday through Saturday during the festival. Join Wayne and Mike as they explore this unique music festival and all it has to offer.
