Buddy Miles is a steam train of a musician. The sheer volume of his funky fat-back drums is the stuff of legend. In 1969, when Jimi Hendrix dumped The Experience to form the Band of Gypsys, it was in large part because Hendrix simply wanted to jam with the power drummer - Buddy Miles. The legendary drummer and voice behind the California Raisins played a 2007 comeback show in Austin before his death.
