When Rebecca Picket was 11 years old she was in a skiing accident that put her in a coma for more than a week. She survived, but she broke her femur, crushed her skull and needed portions of her brain removed. For next eight years she defied her doctor’s expectations with her recovery. But last year she began having debilitating headaches that doctors remain unable to treat. Recently, she found a controversial medication that greatly relieves her pain. Andy Mills brings us the story.
