Ytt-300x300_small Like a simmering volcano, the military draft once errupted and scarred one of our generations in a way that still brings tremors of anger and resentment. That wasn't the case for those older generation men who ran to the draft boards to enlist as soon as possible for WWII. Strangely enough though, today's younger generation is experiencing wonderful calm in the face of two wars, with volunteers going off to serve the rest of us.
The military draft is discussed between 85 year old Sgt. Mgr. Ralph King, freelance writer Allen Teal and managing editor of the Atlantic Council and founder of Ouside the Beltway, James Joyner.
