Default-piece-image-0 John F. Turner is currently an assistant secretary of state for oceans and international environmental affairs. He holds degrees in biology and wildlife ecology, served 19 years in the Wyoming state legislature, taught environmental and wildlife studies at the college level and received many awards for his nature-conservation work. He agrees that the environment needs protection, but he's also seen laws passed that, while well- meaning, have robbed Western land-owners of the right to use their land in any sort of meaningful way.
