Srp In February of this year, eight Sudanese women, currently living outside Sudan, traveled to Doha, Qatar for the most recent series of peace talks regarding the conflict in Darfur. These women, who were uninvited but determined to speak with representatives from the UN and the Sudanese government, were sent by My Sister's Keeper, an organization based in Boston, USA. My Sister's Keeper works to build communication between women inside and outside of Sudan and to make the voices of Sudanese women central to the peace process in the country. Nick Gettino spoke with several members of My Sister's Keeper to learn more about the history of the organization and the experience of the representatives at Doha.
