Srp The international media tends to focus on Sudan's geographically-specific conflicts: the ongoing violence in Darfur;  tribal clashes in the South; battles between rebel groups at Sudan's Western border with Chad. It's all too easy to overlook one type of violence that affects all parts of the country: landmines. Sudan is one of the ten most mined states in the world, and these remnants of conflict traumatize Sudanese communities. Daniel Duncan looks at what is being done to help.
