In 1994 the world looked away, when almost one million people were killed in Rwanda. Militant Hutus slaughtered Tutsis and moderate Hutus. For 100 days the country became a slaughterhouse.
On April 20th the killing militias came to Kaduha, where thousands of refugees tried to find safety on the church grounds. Sister Milgitha was there, she witnessed the murders and had to flee. This audio report looks back on these horrific days in April of 1994.
