Srp The Western media gives plenty of attention to the violence and conflict going on in Sudan, but rarely is there coverage of peaceful subjects like the Sudanese performing arts scene.  Dance and theater have very different functions in Sudan than they do in America and Europe, and often reflect political developments in the country. Anna Sagaser investigates the place performing arts hold in Sudan.
