From: Thom Butler

In our third show we get to listen to a collection of wonderful treatments of one of the all time great sugar sticks of popular music, Louie Jordan's "Is You Is Or Is You Ain't My Baby?" Read the full description.

Aac_small Today's show is an introduction to Louie Jordan and his classic sugar stick. Along the way we learn a lot about the man who not only wrote and popularized the tune, but who can, in many ways, be seen as a pioneer of the music videos of today.

We end the segment with versions of Jordan's classic featuring B.B. King, Dr. John, and New Orleans' singer/songwriter (and Dr. John guitarist) John Fohl.
