NORML, The National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, purchased an ad on the CBS Super Screen in Times Square. The 15 second animation is called "The Money Tree."
Allen St. Pierre NORML's Executive Director joined us from Washington DC.
Steve Bloom from Celebstoner.com joined us from New York.
CBS initially refused to air NORML's content. But after Change.org gathered 10,000 signatures to a petition they allowed the ad. So from now until May 31st, eighteen times per day a montage of the cannabis leaf plays on the legendary Times Square.
Full disclosure: Chris Goldstein once worked for NROML and has a blog at celebstoner.com
