Piece Description
From a series of audio collages on the theme of weather and the seasons. This piece opens with winter wind that transforms into crickets chirping near the whoosh of the freeway, rain falling hard on the windshield, and ends in the crunch of boots in snow.

Review of Wind-Crickets-Rain-Crunch
As a stand alone piece, this is a tough sell. Just a series of sound effects are okay if it eventually says something without prior explanation. If the written description regarding the piece were absent, would anyone know what's this piece about?
