There are many people on this planet who know that they are directly responsible for bringing two people together who marry and live in misery and I am one of them. When I saw her one time with a black eye and swollen cheek she told me quite candidly that he had hit her. But I still didn't really know how messed up his mind was until he joined the church. One day not long ago he asked me if I believed in miracles and I said that I did not. He said, "You should. She and I have been married 50 years."
