When writer, teacher and activist Marita Golden set out to collect thoughts on love from black writers, she thought she might hear a lot about romantic love. Wrong. “I haven’t dated anyone in five years!” said one contributor, who wrote an essay about learning to love herself. Others wrote about connecting with a distant parent, loving grandchildren and- yes- romantic and magical love. Join us for this breathtakingly honest look at love, in all its forms.
Then … If you have a medical emergency and are transferred from a hospital to a rehab center and then home, do you have a plan for keeping all the records in order? Our guests this week want to help.
