When writer, teacher and activist Marita Golden set out to collect thoughts on love from black writers, she thought she might hear a lot about romantic love. Wrong. “I haven’t dated anyone in five years!” said one contributor, who wrote an essay about learning to love herself. Others wrote about connecting with a distant parent, loving grandchildren and- yes- romantic and magical love. Join us for this breathtakingly honest look at love, in all its forms.

Then … If you have a medical emergency and are transferred from a hospital to a rehab center and then home, do you have a plan for keeping all the records in order? Our guests this week want to help. Cheri Lattimer and Debbie White work with the National Transitions of Care Coalition, which seeks to help smooth medical transitions for patients and their families.
